Our Team at KMW
Janet Ward Janet has been the leading the KMW team for the last 11 years. Born and raised in Brisbane, Janet attended Griffith University completing a BA, before attending University of Southern Qld – Grad Diploma in Accounting. She then went on to complete her CPA, CPA public practice certificate and became an ATO registered tax agent. Whilst completing her CPA study she worked as an SMSF specialist for Williams and Partners for four years before becoming a director at KMW. Janet is passionate about superannuation, especially SMSF's. She enjoys working closely with her clients to help them have the best possible business. Janet is also an amazing baker and is destined for career on MasterChef. She loves travelling, food and wine. She does have one weakness – shoes! | |
Scott Amos Scott was born and grew up in Brisbane, and lives in Indooropilly with his wife Karen and two children, Lachie and Eliza. He completed a commerce degree at Uni Qld in 1982, worked for Arthur Andersen for a small stint, before joining what is now known as Williams Hall Chadwick (previously Williams & Partners). Scott completed his Professional Year of study in 1986 and became a Chartered Accountant that year. Two years later, in 1988, he became a Partner at Williams, and sold out of that firm in 2002. He remains good friends with the partners at WHC. Over the years, Scott has been involved as an equity participant in numerous and varied businesses (including office furniture manufacture, clothing manufacture, property development, an on-line marketing business, and quite a few others). He says, 'I am perhaps not your typical Accountant having branched out from mainstream professional life many years ago and I tried my hand at lots of different businesses....some very successful, and some which I put down to experience. I think that places me in a position of advantage over perhaps many in the profession. There is nothing quite like practical experience when it comes to business!" Scott is currently a non executive Director on the Boards of a Financial Services business and a Mining-Exploration company. He lists his interests/passions as – Family, Business, the share market, property, good friends, wine, golf, and the beach. He is looking forward to help developing KMW, and maintaining the wonderful service and work environment which Janet and Howard have built over the past many years.

Howard Stewart Howard is KMW's EMDG Specialist. Born and raised in Sydney, Howard attended the prestigious Fort Street High School. After graduating, he began his career in working in the Department of Defence before transferring to Austrade in Sydney. After many years at Austrade he moved to Brisbane to establish his own business, Campbell Stewart Pty Ltd in 1992. Howard now works closely with KMW and enjoys watching innovative businesses achieve global status through successful EMDG grant applications. Howard is passionate about wine especially from Burgundy. He also admits to being a life member of Balmain Tigers Rugby Football Club.

Jillian Taylor Jillian has been with KMW for over 7 years and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Justice of the Peace. Previous to KMW, Jillian has worked in small, suburban Accounting firms with lots of experience with local SME’s. She has a keen eye for detail, knows the ATO tax laws like the back of her hand and is always determined to get the facts straight! Jillian is also a closet chocoholic! Her ideal holiday would be to ski the beautiful slopes of Canada.

Donna Lovegrove Donna joined KMW in July 2007. She moved to Australia in December 2004 for adventure and ended up as an Accountant. She has a bachelor of Accounting and has just completed her final exams to become a qualified CPA Accountant. Donna is also an SMSF specialist at KMW. She has an amazing attention to detail and manages to find money for her clients that was long forgotten! Donna is a urban farmer and enjoys keeping chickens along with a myriad of pets including 2 kids and a husband. | |
Bill joined KMW in 2007 and has over 4 years experience in the accounting industry. Bill specialises in taxation of small to medium business accounting and SMSF. Also he does Export Development Grant and R & D tax concession for SME. Before joining KMW, he worked in the shipbuilding industry. Bill has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and will become a CPA shortly. Bill also speaks fluent Korean. He loves all sports including short Marathons, Golf, Baseball and above all he has a passion of Tennis.

Susan Gao
Susan is KMW's Graduate Accountant. Born in Shen Yang, China, Susan came to Brisbane in 2004 to study Commerce (Accounting) at Griffith University. Upon completing her degree, she worked for E-tax and Accenture, before starting at KMW in 2011. Susan is an enthusiastic member of the KMW team and always manages a smile amidst stressful deadlines. Outside of work, Susan is a very talented snooker player and enjoys spending her weekend playing at her local club. Susan also enjoys eating food from her homeland and would recommend "Landmark Yum Cha" for an authentic Chinese feast.

Elyce Turner Elyce has been with KMW for the last three years. She has a background in Business Administration and is excellent at keeping the KMW office in order.

Amber Lundt In 2009, Amber joined KMW. She has had over 6 years administration experience. Amber also enjoys horse riding and the great outdoors.
